As part of the Peterhead Energy Hub we have the capabilities to deliver a full onshore decommissioning serviceOur main facilities in Peterhead extend to over 6 acres which provides an ideal location for decommissioning large structures and our experienced workforce have the knowledge and expertise to produce an efficient and trusted service.
Peterhead Port is ideally situated as the most easterly deepwater port in Scotland and sits in close proximity to the central and northern North Sea sectors.
The Port has extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry. The recently extended Smith Quay is an ideal berth for handling decommissioning projects. The site is well suited for deep drafted vessels or projects that require a large area of working space adjacent to the berth.
Dales quayside area provides direct access to vessels on the Smith Quay. Our area measures 40m x 30m (can be increased in size to meet individual operational/project requirements) and can move & rotate to suit operations/project requirements. We have 24hr access and availability for mobile crane up to 1000te.
